What's So Special About MacBook Pro with Retina Display? A Look at the Specs ...

Apple announced last month at the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference its plans on releasing another Macbook Air. The popular thin and light notebook will be running on Haswell offering people the promise that the latest Macbook Air will have a great internal upgrade.

Apple Potential Features: 11.6-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with support for millions of colours/13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with support for millions of colours 4GB of 1600MHz LPDDR3 onboard memory

Despite Haswell's focus on extending battery life rather than computing performance, the refreshed version of the 11-inch and 13-inch Macbook air promise a lot. Reports suggest that aside from the Haswell upgrade, Apple will be including a Retina Display Line for the Macbook Pro. Later in the year, Apple is also planning to include the new OS X Mavericks platform.

Refreshed versions are set to go out in October. With only three months left before the release of the Retina Macbook Pro, a number of Windows OEMs are competing for that part of the market that will not give in to Apple's latest offering. Some are even trying to take advantage of the time left to convince consumers to make the shift.
